vintage venison game platter, very old Buffalo pottery w/ stag deer design

Nice early Buffalo china serving platter with deer at the stream... we think this was originally part of a service for game, as we've had this same shape but with a pheasant illustration instead.

The platter measures 15 1/4" long, and is showing it's age with discolored crazing and a crack.
