strange vintage china plate, fantasy map the world of the human heart love and hate

Strange little heart shaped plate with a map of the heart (seems like more sins and hate than love, which might be accurate but it's a little dark!). I've been pondering on this map for hours, it's a thought provoking conversation piece for certain.

Made in Japan, I'm not sure of the exact vintage here, but it's in excellent condition. It's made as a wall hanging, with holes to thread a cord or ribbon through. Measures 6" across.
