wild strawberries antique travel beauty / manicure case, French brushes

Antique travel set with assortment of grooming tools (a comb and brushes). We aren't sure which - or any, or all - are original to the case, this is exactly as we found it, out of a rural Wisconsin estate. Some of the accessories are marked France, and though the case is not marked that we could find, we guess to be German, or possibly Swiss. It might have been outfitted later, with the case purchased empty?

The case measures 8" long end to end, completely covered with a leather textured embossed paper, strawberry chintz. It's in excellent condition, exceptionally nice for a piece of this age and type, with the paper covering complete, and no staining or water spotting, inside or out. The glass mirror is original, and is somewhat darkened from age.

The celluloid comb is missing a few teeth, as shown. But overall, thhe brushes look pretty good, too!
