vintage farm primitive bucket, tinned steel milk pail w/ wood handle

Primitive old farm pail, originally a milk or cream can? This is steel with tin plating inside and out, with some rusty areas and rust spotting. (It's water tight, and a good cleaning with a fine steel wool would probably work wonders for the rust!)

The pail measures 9 1/4" deep, and 8 1/2" in diameter at the bucket rim. The sturdy wood and wire handle looks good.
