tiny antique birdcage, early 1900s vintage wire cage for mouse, birds, toy animals

Very old, very small wire cage... tbis would make a nice piece to display a little stuffed bird, toy mouse, etc.. The door moves on two pins (very cleverly constructed, my photos aren't the best here, sorry!)

The cage is all steel, worn paint showing surface rust underneath. Measures 6 3/4" x 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" tall overall. The little cardinal ornament shown inside measures 5 1/4" long end to end. (Not included, just wanted to give you an idea as to the size here.)
