vintage reading light, bed headboard lamp w/ tole metal canister shade

Vintage bed lamp, with painted metal canister shade, and heavy wire hooks to fit over a bedstead frame. The shade measures 8 3/4" long, and is made to hold one standard socket light bulb.

The original brass light socket looks very good, as does the shade, but this will need to be rewired, the original electrical cord is worn and broken.
