early 1930s vintage china kitchen trivet, Townsend Plan - Employment - Prosperity - Security

Vintage 1930s tea kettle trivet promoting the Townsend Plan, with their slogan around the border, and a godey style ladies book print in the center. The trivet is marked Columbia Chinaware on the reverse, with a Statue of Liberty mark. The trivet measures about 6 1/2" in diameter.

This has some fine crazing lines all over, but no chips ot cracks. An uncommon old piece of political memorabilia!
