vintage tribal ethnic print cotton fabric w/ black border, Karya - Africa?

Ethnic or tribal print cotton fabric, from Africa, 70s or 80s? This is marked Karya, we think? though we don't seem to be able to find out anything more about it!

It's a quilting or dress weight cotton, full width 36" wide. This repeat is 30" long, nicely sized for a scarf or framed as a wall hanging.
