unused vintage bath towels, thin light terrycloth fabric white cotton towels
more photos of this product belowLot of unused cotton terrycloth bath towels and wash cloths, 1930s or 40s vintage. These were never used, and some never even unwrapped from the paper the store rolled them in.
These are very small by today's standards, where the 'bath sheets' are sized like old fashioned beach towels! The fabric is light and thin, but works well (like a turkish towel) even though it's not plush.
Though these have never never used or laundered, they do have a few spots from storage and light soil marks to fold lines.
There's a few different towels in this lot, shown altogether in the first photo.
There's one Cannon towel with red trim on white, and one Cannon towel with blue trim on white, each measuring 22" x 44".
I believe that there's another of each in the paper roll - so there's two blue trimmed bath towels, and two red trimmed bath towels. Also a blue trimmed wash cloth, possibly another washcloth or two in the roll.
There's also two plain white cotton bath towels measuring 21" x 40". These are printed H-3837, marked for a hospital, I think.
