vintage 1970s Wheaton glass mason jar style bottles, large spice jars w/ wire bail lids
more photos of this product belowSmall (half pint size) canning jars or large jars for a spice set, vintage Wheaton glass, clear color.
One of these is marked Wheaton on the bottom, the other 1776, so we'd guess these were made for the Bicentennial although wire bail glass jars were not made in the days of the American Revolution!
We like them anyway, it's hard to find canister jars in this size. Nice for herbs or spices, or tea.
These measure 2 1/2" in diameter x about 5" tall overall. They have no rubber seals, and there's spotting and rust to the wire bails. But glass jars and glass lids look very good, no chips or roughness.
