I've seen this vase called a tulip vase - and it would work wonderfully for holding tulips. But I believe these flowers are crocus, just look at the cupped shape of the flowers and the short fat stems! I'm certain that they're flowers, not barnacles.

This cute little vase measures about 5 1/2" tall, 4" in diameter at the base. It isn't marked, but it's probably Camark (Arkansas), mid-century modern vintage USA pottery. It's in nice clean condition without chips or cracks, and displays nicely even empty!
