vintage Christmas Santa boot pottery planter pot or vase, hand painted ceramic

Unmarked (USA? Japan?) hand painted ceramic Santa boot planter, mid-century vintage.

This is about 5 1/2" long x 4 3/4" tall, large enough to hold a mini tree (wouldn't a big bottle brush tree look great in this piece?!) or candy canes or greenery.

No chips or cracks, very little wear to the paint. This looks good, just a little dusty.
