vintage Christmas pudding mold, oval melon shape dome w/ handle, Wear Ever aluminum

Two part mold to make a steamed pudding (the classic Christmas pudding!). This is mid 20th century vintage, Wear-Ever aluminum. It's noticeably worn, and stained from hard water inside and out. But I love the oval shape, like a platter with dome cover. It has sturdy handles on both pieces, and fits together snugly (not too loose or too tight). Measures about 8" x 6" across the bottom.
