vintage Country Kitchen Cook Book w/ easel stand, depression era recipes 1940s edition

1945 edition of The Country Kitchen Cookbook, spiral bound so it opens flat, and with an easel stand at the back to hold the book while you're cooking. This has to be one of the handiest ideas ever, I don't know why this hasn't become more popular! In fact, this is the first time we've ever seen a cookbook with a built in stand.

This measures about 8" x 6", has 213 pages, is nice and clean and looks complete. The food is plain and simple farmhouse kitchen fare, 1920s and 30s style meals - an interesting read. There's the remains of an old book plate or label to the inside front cover.
