vintage Dale of Norway hand knit wool sweater w/ pewter clasps, Scandinavian fair isle knitting

Vintage (used, slightly felted from washings) all wool ski sweater with pewter metal closures and buttons, Dale of Norway label. This actually is quite wearable, like boiled wool, thick and heavy, cozy and still roomy even though somewhat shrunk!

Size tag is M. I wear a womens large or extra large or a mens medium or large in sweaters, and this fits me fine in a remember the 1980s kind of way, square and bulky. Garment measurements as this is are 38" chest under the arms, 18 1/2" sleeve length under the arms, 24" long from shoulder down.

Looks good without spots or holes, beautiful blue, grey, cream colorway nice without discoloration. The clasp closures and buttons are hard to find these days, and make this piece extra special.
