vintage French stoneware bottle marked for Fauchon Burgundy wine vinegar, Bormier Dijon

Big beautiful vintage French stoneware bottle from Fauchon - this has the 'label' printed right on to the pottery in black, a great piece to display in the French country style.

Bottle originally held French Burgundy wine vinegar. It's empty now, clean, in very good condition, measures about 11" tall overall.

One side of the bottle is Fauchon - Vinaigrevieux divin rouge de Bourgogone A l'ancienne.

The other side of the bottle is marked 1 L 3 for the measure, and Toutes mes bouteilles doivent porter le cachet de ma maison Bormier Dijon.

Google did not translate either of these exactly as I would have, but my French isn't great - just enough to read red wine vinegar made in the ancient tradition, and bottle from Bormier, Dijon!
