vintage Hawaiian monkey pod wood mug, carved face native Polynesian Pacific Islander

1970s vintage souvenir of Hawaii, a carved wood mug, really big, about 4 3/4" tall. This has some scratching and wear, most to the interior (it was once used as a pencil holder).
