vintage Herend china set of 12 plates w/ serving tray hand painted rose hips berries & leaves HER16 pattern

Vintage Herend china set of twelve 7 1/2" plates WITH matching tray - this is a really lovely dessert set, in excellent condition without damage or wear. This pattern is red berries or rose hips with leaves in blues and greens, very beautiful coloring. I don't know the real pattern name, Replacements dot com calls it only HER16. Mid 20th century vintage, I believe.

The mark on all of these pieces is the plain blue 'student' mark, these were the equivalent of factory seconds, though honestly the painting looks so good. One or two plates look slightly off center on the center design, but you really don't see this unless you look very carefully. Herend has very high standards! China on all of these pieces looks perfect, no chips, no flaws that I could see.
