vintage Hull brown drip pottery - covered casserole dish w/ duck cover

Vintage brown drip glaze pottery cassoulet pot with a oval dish about 9 3/4" long and a duck shaped cover.

This duck looks like Hull brown drip pottery, and the dish looks like Hull brown drip pottery - but this 'set' doesn't fit together as well as we'd like, though it's from an estate and apparently together this way for many years.

Both pieces are nice and glossy without much use, though there's a chip to the inside unglazed rim of the duck lid.

We love these Hull ducks (and chickens!) and are listing this because they're very difficult to find. Even as is, this is a nicer than average lid!
