vintage India ornately carved wood magazine rack or sewing stand, teak or sheesham wood w/ folding design

Very cool 1970s vintage India carved wood magazine stand or sewing basket - this is made with hinged sides and a removable bottom and handle to fold flat for storage (if you move frequently, this is perfect!). A nice piece to hold whatever you'd like, I think this would work for all sorts of things - groceries? plant pots? even shoes - and look good, too. It's very sturdy. Measures about 16 1/2" x 8 1/2" and stands 15" tall opened up.
