vintage Italian Florentine carved wood boxes w/ shabby old gold distressed antique finish

Lot of three vintage Florentine gold boxes, made in Italy. All three of these are marked Italy, and two of them have old paper labels from Sears Roebuck.

We like the deeply carved shapes on these pieces, like fragments of antique architectural moldings. Two are a deep gold color, one is a slightly whiter gold - all have a shabby worn gilt finish which we love!

These were probably made as jewelry boxes, we think. They're unlined, and measure about 7 1/2" square. All are a little worn, with roughly painted interiors.
