vintage Japan S&P set, calico cats stuffed animals hand painted stitching & floral

So cute vintage 'stuffed toy' cats, hand painted ceramic salt and pepper shakers made in Japan, mid century vintage. They're about 3" tall.

These are very worn, they've been used and much loved. One cat has a large chip on the base, one has the original cork stopper stuck inside. Both are crazed and stained, with some wear to the paint.
