vintage Japan S&P shakers, happy blue bird chattering bluebirds salt & pepper w/ squeakers

Pair of vintage Japan hand-painted ceramic salt and pepper shakers, a pair of Chattering Bluebirds in the original box. These are nice and clean, never used. But we can't get them to chirp, or make any noise at all!

They're still very cute bluebirds of happiness just as they are. They'll display very nicely as they're pretty big, about 4" tall.
