vintage Japan hand painted ceramic Elsie the cow & twins calves S&P shakers set, calf salt & pepper w/ mama

Mid century vintage Japan cow with twin babies salt and pepper shakers. It's a Jersey cow, made as Elsie (Borden). Elsie is about 3 3/4" tall. The two calves are salt and pepper shakers, and sit neatly in Elsie's arms when not in use.

This set is in very nice condition with the original cork stoppers, very clean overall, no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. There's the remains of an old souvenir label on Elsie, as shown.
