vintage Japan hand painted ceramic S&P shakers, chickens in green & brown

Vintage Japan ceramic salt and pepper shakers - a pair of brown chickens and a pair of green chickens.

These look like roosters but they're sitting like hens on nests? Still very cute.

One chicken has a chip to the comb, but overall they look good, nice and clean.
