vintage Japan hand painted ceramic lucky elephant planter figurine, Indian elephant

I love the beautiful warm colors and realistic style of this little elephant planter. It's 20th century vintage, made in Japan - but it has a look that mixes well with good antiques, or modern world traveler style!

Measures about 6 1/2" long, sized for a tiny plant or bit of greenery. It's been used and has some glaze crazing and soil. No chips or cracks.
