vintage Japan hand-painted encrusted gold porcelain tea set, pot, cups & saucers, plates

Allover gold hand painted china tea and dessert set, mid-century vintage, made in Japan. This is fabulous!

There's six each of 7 1/4" dessert plates, teacups and saucers. There's a teapot and a cream pitcher, though the sugar bowl is missing.

We saw a few painted over chips to one of the saucers, but overall this set is in remarkably nice condition without damage or a lot of wear. There's very little rubbed or worn spots to the gold.
