Vintage Japan porcelain box with stick handle, hinged lid. Hand painted gold, romantic roses on pure white.

This is pretty and very demure on a hall table, dresser or night stand to hold all sorts of things. I've seen this sort of piece called a silent butler, or a powder box, or a trinket dish - and actually it would work well for any of those purposes.

It's nice and clean without damage or wear, gold nice and bright without rubbing. Measures about 3 3/4" across the rim of the bowl.
