vintage Japan redware pottery tea pot, colorful phoenix bird or golden pheasant

Vintage Japan redware pottery teapot with rattan handle and colorful bird (a phoenix or a golden pheasant?) This holds about 4-6 cups, it's 8 1/2" tall with the handle upright. Nice and clean inside and out, I don't believe this was ever used.
