vintage Liberty mark ironstone china jar w/ teal blue border, restaurant or hotel tableware

Nice chunky ironstone china jar (no lid), about 4" tall. The tile blue (blue-green) colored border is very art deco, not too flowery.

This is mid century vintage, hotel or restaurant china marked with the Statue of Liberty on the bottom. Such a great backstamp!

It looks to me like this piece has been used as a vase, or a toothbrush holder? It works well for either. I think it would be great to hold silverware, too.

There's an old discolored chip at the rim (see photos). Aside from that, just the general wear as you'd expect in a piece like this.
