vintage Lipper & Mann Japan hand painted luster ceramic bonbon trinket dish, fan w/ bird

'Coral Fan' bonbon dish, mid century vintage Lipper & Mann Japan label. I can't figure out what makes this a 'coral' fan, the fan is not shaped like a coral fan, just like a fan for fanning in a flirty way. And the bird is pink, not coral colored.

But it's really pretty anyway, and in very nice condition without chips or damage. Measures about 8 1/2" across, nicely sized to hold jewelry or trinkets, or candy of course.
