vintage Mexican pottery turtle, burnished clay w/ henna colored painted flowers

Vintage burnished pottery turtle, made in Mexico, 1970s or early 80s I think. I love the henna type design painted on this piece!

It's about 7 1/2" x 6 1/2" overall. It's in nice clean condition, but has makers flaws as the feet have cracking on the underside.
