vintage Shenango adobe restaurant ware tan ironstone china, oval plates or platters set
more photos of this product belowSet of four mid-century vintage heavy ironstone china oval plates in adobe tan color. Jackson china calls this color Jac-Tan, and Syracuse china calls this color Adobe Ware.
These are Shenango china, and I'm not sure what their 'name' is for this color. It's hard to find, and has a wonderful rustic southwest style! These were made for railroad china or restaurant ware, nice and heavy with clean simple lines.
This is a set of four platter plates, 12 1/2" x 8 1/2" overall. You could use these for serving, or fix a whole meal of one plate. They do show some scratching and wear, but were made to last forever and have many years of life left in them!
