vintage US Navy double breasted uniform jacket/coat w/silver eagle buttons

Old, United States Naval uniform jacket or coat with a service stripe on the cuff. We're not sure the exact vintage or rank of this jacket.

It measures 15 1/2" long on the arm (armpit to cuff), 37" around the chest (under the arms), 17 1/2" across the shoulders on the back and 28" long (from the base of the collar to the bottom of the coat). It is in good condition with all of the buttons.
