vintage US military USQMC marked ironstone china meat platter, WWII Army mess dinnerware

Vintage (WWII era?) US Quartermaster's marked ironstone china platter, made by Scammell potteries. I believe Scammell's is New Jersey, like the good old Trenton ware.

This is a nice big platter, 15 1/2" long x 10 1/2" wide. It's been used, has some scratching and spots, and edge wear. The glaze is dimpled and pimpled, that's just the way it was made.
