vintage USA pottery baby planter, boy kitty w/ long whiskers, blue overalls & cap

Unmarked USA ceramic planter with a little kitten in blue overalls and a cap. I'm pretty sure this is a cat, although Google image search suggested a pig - I've raised piglets and cats, and have never seen a pig with whiskers like this!

This piece measures about 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" overall. It's been used, and does show some browning and light soil - no chips or cracks.
