vintage Wedgwood Flying Cloud Young America ships print rust red transferware ironstone china, set of 4 cereal bowls

20th century vintage Wedgwood china bowls with a sailing ship print from the 19th century Wedgwood pattern archives. The ship design on these bowls is Young America 1853. Plates are marked on the back - Georgetown Collection by Wedgwood - Flying Cloud - Made in England.

The color is the rare rust (red) on a heavy white ironstone china. The blue is so much more common, I very seldom see this pattern in the red! This is a set of four cereal bowls about 6 1/4" in diameter. These have crazing, but are very good overall, very gently used.
