vintage Wisconsin Ho-Chunk Winnebago Indian basket rare vase shape with points

Vintage Ho-Chunk Winnebago basket vase, 1930s or 40s? We've looked all over this piece, and can't find any marks or signatures.

This piece has typical construction for the Wisconsin Winnebago basketry we usually see, though we actually found this particular piece right across the Mississippi river in Iowa. It's been in one family for the last 60+ plus years, but we don't know anything of it's history prior to that.

We love the unusual shape, and don't believe we've ever found a basket vase before. It's lined with a soldered water tight metal can period to the piece, probably original.

Size is 10" tall x 7" diameter over the basket. The basket looks very good, old but largely free of wear or damage. It does have a few soil marks / water spots which we haven't tried to remove - we'd expect to see age and some use on a vintage piece like this, and it shows.
