vintage aluminum colander, rustic farmhouse kitchen strainer basket bowl

Primitive 'tin' colander, probably Mirro aluminum, 1950s vintage. This has seen a hard life in a Wisconsin farm kitchen and has a lovely patina of age and use.

It measures about 8 3/4" across the rim of the bowl. Has the classic three little feet, but this one has a single star or flower design to the hole pattern rather than the more usual star shapes.
