vintage apothecary jar, drug store counter tall canister vase, candy jar or straw holder

Heavy pressed glass counter bottle... we're not sure what this piece was originally made for? It's not marked, and measures 11 3/4" tall overall.

It's a little tall for a straw holder, or to use as a barber's jar. It doesn't look as though it's ever has a lid, with just a smooth rounded thick rim at the top.

We love its clean lines and industrial style. It would make a great display piece to hold candy or coins or other small pieces, or work well as a flower bucket vase.

It's nice and clear, in very good condition without chips or cracks.
