vintage bakelite electrical plug w/ paper seal City of Los Angeles Dept of Building & Safety

Vintage brown bakelite plug with paper seal marked for the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Nice and clean, probably never used. A very interesting piece from the mid century - I don't think this would be up to safety standards today, with the danger of fires and wildfires.
