vintage bed light headboard reading lamp, old brown shade, plastic or bakelite?

Vintage bed lamp, designed to hang on the headboard of a bed, plugs into a wall socket with a long cord. This has a brown plastic or bakelite shade, and holds one standard socket sized light bulb (marked for a maximum of 40 watts).

Measures 8 1/2" x 4 1/2", the shade looks good overall, no chips, cracks, or discoloration to the shade, though there's fine rust spotting to the metal mesh at the top. The light works well, too.
