vintage bisque china penny dolls, bodies & heads, antique doll parts lot

Very odd little penny dolls with heads made separate from the bodies. I can't figure out how these are intended to be put together for real, but I did have some fun swapping the heads around! I THINK these are right in the photos.

These are bisque china, made for china painting. The paint job where present doesn't look complete, and all have some soil marks. There's four dolls in this lot, all 2 1/2" to 2 3/4" tall.
