vintage blue & gold rayon / cotton carpet rug w/ oriental cranes or pheasants, shabby gypsy style

Vintage cotton / rayon carpet with a sort of chinoiserie design of birds and flowers. This is used but pretty clean and odor free. Size is about 50" x 70".

This came to us out of the estate of an antique dealer, though we don't believe it's antique. We'd guess it's probably early to mid 20th century, and couldn't venture a guess as to it's origins without a tag or label as it is.

It's a good looking decor piece probably intended for use a rug, though this one hasn't seen a lot of use. The pile is good, not threadbare. And there's very little wear to the fringe.
