vintage book end, faux marble w/ lantern, marbled blue veined plaster chalkware

Single vintage bookend with a lantern or street light, 1930s or 40s vintage.

The pictures don't do this justice, it's smooth and heavy with a wonderful feel, nicer that it looks in photos! It's not marked at all that we could see, but we'd guess its a chalkware or composition product with a waxed or oiled finish.

It measures 7" tall x 5 1/2" wide.
