vintage brass student lamp w/ painted milk glass shade shade & font

Vintage student lamp with hand-painted milk glass shade and font, a 50s vintage electric lamp for desk or work table. It's about 18 1/2" tall overall, 6" in diameter across the widest part of the shade.

The brass plating is tarnished and worn from polishing, but the wiring works perfectly, and the milk glass font and shade look very nice. (The shade fits perfectly, so we're inclined to believe it's original, though the painted florals are a little different from shade to font.)
