vintage brass wire basket, twisted wirework soap dish w/ antique bronze patina

I love the antique bronze color of this brass wire work basket - it's probably 1980s vintage, though feels about 100 years older, with this very Victorian style.

I'm not sure what this was originally intended for, but it looks like it would make a nice soap dish! Measures 4" x 2 1/4" across the bottom of the basket, holds a few guest soaps perfectly.
