1940s vintage Jeannette glass candy dish, square shape, about 6 1/4" tall. Lovely strong color on this one! The mold lines are rough (or lumpy), and there's some slight chipping on the lid. These pieces were made more as novelties than as art glass, cheaply produced for small gift occasions or holidays. Not Fenton quality, just a pretty depression glass piece.
