vintage ceramic figurine, Samoyed or Akita all white dog, no mark or signature

Vintage ceramic dog, an Akita or Samoyed? A fluffy white dog with a curled tail, very handsome. Measures about 5 3/4" long x 4 3/4" tall.

This is not marked or signed that I could see, but it's a nicely made piece, in very good condition. No chips, cracks or repairs - some glaze crazing from age.
