vintage child's size china tea sets, mommy & me doll dishes hand painted made in Japan

Lot of two little toy tea sets, both hand painted china made in Japan, mid-century vintage. One is a little bigger, one a little smaller, patterns are the same colors so these work well together!

Nice sister sets, of for mother and daughter, or a child and dolls set. Plates are 4 1/2" in the smaller size, 4 3/4" in the larger size.

Both are sets for six, thought there's a missing cup in the smaller sized set. Both sets have a few serving pieces, too.

These have been used, but carefully cared for over the years. There's a few little chips, and some light wear to the painted designs. Overall, it's a really nice lot of china toy dishes.
